Functional Beverage Taste Tests
TasteMakers Research Group was challenged to quickly conduct quantitative consumer taste tests of 26 flavor variations across 3 functional beverages in order to identify the top three flavors of each product for pre-market testing.
A PopUp CLT™ (Consumer Location Test) was conducted in an upscale shopping complex with a perfectly targeted demographic for Neuro’s premium priced functional beverages. A randomized incomplete block design was administered with each participant tasting only three flavors per product.
Testing was completed in three days revealing the top three preferred flavors for each product based on overall preference, flavor ratings, purchase intent, various attributes and open-ended insights.
